SVPP and Meyer Trust Develop Learning Partnership
Supporting organizational infrastructure is more important now than ever given the current economy. Strengthening capacity and infrastructure will help organizations be more planful, strategic and adaptive, ultimately positioning them for resiliency. With that in mind, SVPP and Meyer Memorial Trust entered into a learning and co-funding partnership this week for 2010 and 2011. Through the partnership, the Meyer Trust will match the investment of two SVPP grantees and will share in the Investee capacity-building work to learn with us how to best enhance the capacity and resilience of nonprofits — a Meyer Trust goal.
The co-funding partnership will allow SVPP and MMT to extend our work across the philanthropic sector and advance our belief that multi-year general operating support combined with strategic capacity building will strengthen nonprofit organizations and deepen their community impact. Stay tuned for more developments in future eNews bulletins.
