- 10:45 - 11:00 AM - Arrive & settle in
- 11:00 - 12:00 -Tom Novick, Executive Director of Portland-based Conservation Strategies will give us a legislative and political overview for the upcoming fall election
season
- 12:00 - 12:30 - Lunch
- 12:30 - 2:00 -Joan Crooks, Executive Director of Washington Environmental Council
and Gregg Small, Executive Director of Climate Solutions will speak about the Priorities for a Healthy Washington
process, including an overview of how this process has developed over the past few years, results of the 2008 legislative session, and potential
directions for the future.
- 2:00 - 3:00 - Next Steps & funder updates
A more detailed agenda will follow closer to the date. The program should be timely and informative so we hope that many of you are able to attend!
This meeting is the quarterly NWEG meeting in Seattle and is being organized
by The Seattle Biotech Legacy Fund and the Carolyn Foundation. Please email
