McKenzie River Gathering Foundation Announces Spring Grant Recipients
MRG’s General Fund Grantmakers awarded a total of $167,500 during the spring funding cycle to twenty-three groups in Oregon. These include groups working in rural and urban areas to create environmental, economic and social justice. From preserving Native American culture to providing immigrants and activists with legal advice to advocating for human rights, MRG grantees are positively transforming Oregon one step at a time.
“These groups represent some of the most exciting, dynamic and important organizing happening in Oregon today,” quoted MRG Program Director Anita Rodgers. “Each year, our grantees are making important changes in communities across Oregon and I am grateful to our supporters for making this possible.”
