Kaiser Permanente gives $35,000 grant to help Oregon and Washington flood victims

(Portland, Ore.)—December 13, 2007—Kaiser Permanente today gave a $35,000 grant to the American Red Cross, Oregon Trail Chapter to help flood victims in Oregon and Washington. $24,500 of the grant will go to flood victims in Oregon and $10,500 to victims in Washington. Kaiser Permanente is a non-profit healthcare company that believes in giving back to the community and this grant allows us to do that.
Kaiser Permanente is America’s leading integrated health care organization. Founded in 1945, the organization serves the health needs of more than 8.7 million people nationwide. More than 475,000 people in Oregon and Southwest Washington receive their health care from Kaiser Permanente.
