Funders Come Together in Eugene. Focus: Effective Site Visits
Southern Willamette Valley funders came together last Friday at the Eugene Town Club to discuss effective site visits. Cynthia Addams, The Collins Foundation, led the group through the who, how, why and so what of site visits. The group talked about how making a contribution to a nonprofit organization is only one step in getting the job done. They discussed how site visits allow funders to get to know the people and their work up close and provide chance to work in partnership with an organization to get a critical job done. Below are to wonderful handouts. One that highlights the non-profits roll in the site visit and the other is a conprehensive outline of what was discussed.
