About GRANTMAKERS
What is GRANTMAKERS of Oregon and Southwest Washington?
GRANTMAKERS of Oregon and Southwest Washington is one of 32 regional associations across the country. While each regional association is a distinct entity reflecting its geographic reach, we all share some common traits that serve the funding community:
- We connect a diverse membership—large, small, private, public, corporate, community, family, new, seasoned;
- Through our networks, we collectively hold local intelligence on issues and practices;
- Locally, nationally and internationally, we move information efficiently and effectively;
- And, we all value and nurture a culture of sharing.
GRANTMAKERS is about funders coming together to exchange ideas, share information, and learn more about philanthropy’s possibilities.

“
Many of us work in an environment where we're the only person making grants. It's nice to have someone to call to exchange information on organizations, requests, and individuals.
