$225,000 in Grants to Social Change Groups Across Oregon
This week MRG is awarding $225,000 to 20 amazing grassroots groups working throughout Oregon. These groups are on the front lines of work to protect the environment and human rights. They are developing progressive leaders across the state and bringing people together to create change in communities from Grants Pass to Bend to Portland. These groups are receiving grants that range in size from $5,000 to $20,000 for the work they will be taking on in 2010.
Please visit MRG’s website to see the full list of grantees and learn more about the work they are doing for Oregon.
