After an expensive and often rancorous battle, measures 66 and 67 passed in the end of January by a wider margin than expected. The passage of these two measures issued in the beginning of the 2010 Oregon legislative special session. Join your fellow funders on March 18th as John Tapogna with ECONorthwest facilitates a panel conversation regarding the fiscal picture in Oregon following the February session and post-Measures 66/67, and perspectives on future revenue options for the state. Ryan Deckert of the Oregon Business Association and Robert Stoll, a key supporter of 66/67, are confirmed to participate along with Senator Ginny Burdick.
Please register by Monday, March 15th, 2010. Eligibility to attend: This meeting is open to GRANTMAKERS representatives of organizations eligible to become members of GRANTMAKERS. Individuals with a donor-advised fund at a member organization are eligible to attend as members of GRANTMAKERS of Oregon and Southwest Washington. GRANTMAKERS events are not open to the public.
