2008 REGIONAL CONFERENCE

**SAVE THE DATE**

GRANTMAKERS of Oregon and Southwest Washington
2008 Regional Conference

Create - Re-create - Recreate

October 15th, 16th, 17th
Five Pine Lodge
Sisters, Oregon

Featuring: The Bridgespan Group

This year’s conference will expand how participants think about their work. Participants will experience plenary, break-out and networking sessions, and they will also cover the ground – literally.  A local planning team will enhance the conference sessions by taking folks off-site to experience firsthand where and how work is being done by our nonprofit partners.  They will hike stream banks, visit nonprofit organizations delivering critical services and compare how issues challenge rural and urban communities.

At the end of the conference participants will have heard, seen and felt the impact and promise of philanthropy in our region. We want you to leave Sisters with good ideas, new colleagues and confidence in the work you do to build better communities.  We think the program we have planned will accomplish our goals and strengthen the effectiveness of the philanthropic community.
