Family Foundation Learning Exchange: Civil Conversations in Uncivil Times

The Oregon Community Foundation, 2nd Floor Upper Cascade Room, 1221 SW Yamhill, Portland OR 97205 || Complimentary for Members
Thursday, April 19, 2018
Thursday, April 19, 2018, 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM
DESCRIPTION:
Hosted in Partnership with The Oregon Community Foundation

Society is becoming increasingly divisive. What roles can family foundations play in finding ways to support meaningful dialogue across “party lines” within their community? Is this role appropriate for family foundations? What are the biggest mistakes that funders make when trying to provide a forum for these types of conversations?

Join us for a live viewing of the National Center for Family Philanthropy (NCFP) webinar on this topic, as well as a post-webinar discussion about how these issues are impacting family foundations in Oregon and Southwest Washington.
